USED MY FEES TO PAY FOR TREATMENT

Even academics and reading, which used to be my solace, became a battlefield.

The university could do more to support visually impaired students like myself.

People ask me questions like “What happened to you again? What’s wrong with you again?”

Whenever there is a flood, we have to lock the school for three to four days.

It started suddenly with gunshots and chaos. Children screamed, teachers scattered, and everyone ran for their lives.

Some parents told their children to stay away, as if I carried a curse. At school, I sat alone. At home, I heard the whispers.

After God, reading is the second thing you have to do to be successful in life.
