Draft Vetter

CLICK HERE FOR A QUICK GUIDE

This tool, which operates using either English or French, is designed to help you quickly fact-check claims in your documents. Here’s how to get started:

Step 1: Input your content

You have two simple ways to add your text to the editor:

  • Paste text: Copy your content from any source and paste it directly into the editor panel.
  • Upload a file: Click the Upload button to import a document. The app supports various formats, including .docx, .txt, .md, and .html.

Step II: Choose your analysis

Once your content is loaded, you have two powerful options:

  • Fact-Check Links: This feature analyses every hyperlink in your text. It checks if the content at the linked URL supports the claim made in the surrounding sentence.
  • Fact-Check Text: This feature scans the entire document for claims that may be inaccurate, misleading, or unsubstantiated based on general public knowledge, without relying on hyperlinks.

Step III: Review the results

The results of the analysis will appear in the Verification Results panel on the right. Each card provides a summary of the finding, the original claim, and the verification status.

Important disclaimer

Please be aware that this tool uses an AI model to generate its findings. It is impressive but not infallible. The results may occasionally contain inaccuracies or misinterpretations. As a result, we strongly encourage you to use these results as a starting point for your own verification. Additionally, the link fact-checking function only verifies the consistency of claims, not the credibility of the sources. Always double-check critical information and use your best judgment before finalising your document.
